I recently enjoyed a good stay at the Grand Boutique Hotel. The historical charm and individualized decor of the rooms made my experience unique and cozy. However, I did encounter some minor issues, such as squeaky floorboards and a few discrepancies with my mini bar charges. Overall, I felt the hotel provided great value for money and I appreciated the friendly service from the staff. 😊

My room was spacious and beautifully lit, featuring vintage furniture that added to the ambiance. The comfortable bed ensured I slept well, despite some creaky floorboards. I did notice a small leak in the shower, which was a bit inconvenient.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, especially Doina during breakfast and Diana at the bar. They went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and taken care of, significantly enhancing my stay.

This hotel is perfectly positioned on a quiet side street, just a short 5-10 minute walk from the old town, making it convenient to explore local attractions without being in the hustle and bustle.

The breakfast offered a nice variety, though I think an upgrade would benefit the overall experience. The cooked-to-order omelette and the quality of the ingredients stood out, making my mornings enjoyable.

The hotel provides thoughtful amenities like room service and laundry options. Although I didn’t use all the facilities, I found them well organized and the overall cleanliness to be perfect.

During my stay at Grand Boutique Hotel, I enjoyed the beautiful historical ambiance and spacious, clean room, but was let down by inconsistent service, especially with room cleaning and breakfast arrangements. While the location was convenient, just a short walk from the old town, I faced issues with the reception staff when booking a taxi. Overall, it was a mixed experience that could benefit from better service management.

Facilities like room service were available, but I did not require them during my stay. The hotel’s elegant decor and inviting lounge area enhanced the overall atmosphere.

I had a mix of experiences during my stay at the Grand Boutique Hotel. The historic ambiance and spacious room were lovely, but I faced several issues that overshadowed the charm. Staff friendliness was evident, yet the disorganization in dining and room comfort left me disappointed.

Rooms

While my room was spacious and fit with vintage furniture, it lacked air conditioning and became uncomfortably warm during the night. I also encountered ants in my bed on the second day, which was quite unpleasant.
Service

The staff, particularly the younger guy with a beard at reception, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, trying to make my stay more enjoyable. However, the service in the dining areas was very disorganized, with waitstaff seemingly unprepared.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Old Town and main attractions, which made exploring Bucharest easy and enjoyable.
Dining

Breakfast was disappointing, with a limited selection and bland offerings. I was particularly let down by a meal that was dry and unappetizing, despite the claims of a well-prepared menu.
Facilities

The hotel features some lovely common areas and a cozy courtyard, but the overall facilities felt lacking, especially considering the pricing. There were no cocktails available as advertised, which was a letdown.

I found the Grand Boutique Hotel to be beautifully styled, with an old-world ambiance that gives it a unique character. While the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, I did encounter some issues with my booking and room comfort. The bed felt quite hard, and the room, although charming, was a bit small for my preference. Overall, it was a nice stay with some pros and cons to consider.

Rooms

The interior had a vintage charm, but my Superior room was unexpectedly small, and the bed was too hard for my liking.

I had a mixed experience at the Grand Boutique Hotel. While the historic charm and spacious rooms were good, I encountered significant issues with communication and dining services that hindered my stay. The restaurant's operating hours didn't align with my visit, and the breakfast service could have been better organized. Overall, it had potential, but some aspects fell short.

Rooms
8.0
My room was generous in size, with high ceilings and vintage furniture that added character. Though the air conditioning was a bit noisy, it still did the job during the warm days I spent there.
Service
5.0
While some staff were exceptionally friendly and tried to assist with transportation and booking inquiries, my interaction with management was quite troubling. I felt that the hotel could improve on consistency in service communication.
Location

The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the Old Town, making it convenient for exploring the local area. However, the surrounding area appeared a bit rundown, which detracted from the experience.
Dining
6.0
I encountered issues with the restaurant's availability, as it was not open as advertised on the weekends. The breakfast had its highlights, with a great omelet option, but the overall service during breakfast could have been better.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offered various amenities, but I found the menu and signs hard to read due to their small print and dim lighting. It would be beneficial for them to make their facility details more accessible.
